By downloading or using TrackDoc, you agree to these terms.

License

TrackDoc is licensed, not sold. The Free tier is free forever. The Pro tier (Monthly or Lifetime) grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use TrackDoc on Macs you personally own or control, for as long as your license is valid.

• Monthly Pro is a subscription. It renews automatically until cancelled. Cancelling stops future charges; existing access runs until the end of the current billing period.
• Lifetime Pro is a one-time purchase. It grants access to all current and future TrackDoc updates for the life of the product. If we discontinue TrackDoc, your installed copy continues to work but may stop receiving updates.

What TrackDoc does

TrackDoc is a media library auditor. It reads metadata and file contents on drives you explicitly select to scan. It can also write to those drives — moving, renaming, or deleting files when you invoke specific actions (Clean Up Wizard, Reorganize, Sync, Flatten, Move to Trash).

Your responsibility

Back up your data before using TrackDoc. TrackDoc provides undo for most actions and moves deleted content to .jam_trash/ instead of permanent deletion, but you are responsible for your own data.

• We strongly recommend running any destructive action (delete, move, reorganize) against a backup or test drive first.
• We are not liable for data loss, corruption, or unexpected file-system changes caused by TrackDoc, macOS, hardware failure, or user action.
• Always verify a cleanup or reorganization on a non-critical drive before committing it to your main library.

Refunds

Gumroad handles billing and refunds per their terms. If you request a refund within Gumroad's refund window, your license will be revoked on the next re-verification. If your Gumroad refund is granted, TrackDoc will revert to Free tier on the next app launch.

Prohibited use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble TrackDoc.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute TrackDoc.
• Share your license key with anyone else.
• Use TrackDoc to scan or modify drives you don't have permission to access.
• Use TrackDoc for unlawful purposes.

Warranty disclaimer

TrackDoc is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that TrackDoc will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JAM ON DJ Productions / RISE Studio Labs and its contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of your use of TrackDoc, including but not limited to data loss, lost profits, or business interruption.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from TrackDoc shall not exceed the amount you paid for your license in the twelve months preceding the claim (or $10 USD, whichever is greater, for Free tier users).

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest revision. Continued use of TrackDoc after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in courts located in Dallas County, Texas.
