The request contains your current version, macOS architecture, and IP address.TrackDoc reads the filesystem metadata and file contents (for hashing) on drives you explicitly select to scan. This data is stored in local SQLite databases under ~/.trackdoc/profiles/. You can delete these at any time — removing the drive profile in the app or deleting the SQLite file directly.
TrackDoc is a professional audio/video library tool and is not directed to children under 13.
We'll update this page if we materially change how TrackDoc handles data. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
Separate from the app: the trackdoc.app marketing site is hosted on Netlify and loads web fonts from Google Fonts, so your IP address is shared with Google when a page loads. The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts.
